The Caveleon project was born in January 2018, bringing together multi-instrumentalist Leo Einaudi, singer-songwriter Giulia Vallisari, electronic musician Federico Cerati and drummer Agostino Ghetti. Together they have unleashed a sound that is atmospheric and totally fresh, caught somewhere between folk, indie and rock, with an electronic through line. The outcome of this sonic quest leads the listener into a world that shuns hard definitions, catching you off guard with its simplicity and sophistication. Two voices, an acoustic guitar, avant-garde beats, piano, keyboard and evocative arrangements conjure up a landscape that is both familiar and unexplored.

This eponymous EP is Caveleon's first record, out now on Futurissima. A unique blend of indie-pop, folk suggestions and electronic undertones that sounds like a piece of sci-fi featuring Mark Lanegan and Alt-J. The lead single We Walk was "composed on the way back from the Camino de Santiago," singer Leo Einaudi explains, "and talks about those moments of transition where all references are lost, like a road that no longer has boundaries but it still feels like there's a direction you have to keep following"
